Having been raised in an environment where “ministry in song” was an important and integral part of corporate worship, I’m convinced that music is an amazing gift from God that can help us to “draw near” to Him and to be in a place where we can both give and receive
Music ministry is not just good for outreach but good for the church too - “teach and encourage one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs”
Many of the events/presentations mentioned elsewhere on this site are also suitable for incorporating into regular services or for evenings of ministry, etc., including the concerts, the Peace in our Time multi-media presentation, teaching worship teams, a blend of worshipping together with ministry songs, and so on.
